If you are planning on increasing your protein intake, there are many things to consider. For one, you should not “eat more more” when uptaking your protein. There are many sources of protein in dairy and other vegetables and grains as well, too much meat could potentially risk your health; it can lead to coronary heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, etc.
Good Sources of Protein
3 oz Tuna, Salmon, Haddock, or Trout: 21g of protein
3 oz Turkey or Chicken: 19g of protein
½ cup Cottage Cheese: 14g of protein
½ cup Cooked Beans: 8g of protein
6 oz Greek Yogurt: 17g of protein
